With only about 10 percent of Fortune 100 companies placing design as an executive priority, Eric Quint is a pioneer in his own right by representing an even smaller percentage of Chief Design Officers at such large corporations. Joining 3M in 2013 with over 20 years of global experience, he is successfully leading a design thinking cultural transformation for this $30 billion firm historically known for its scientific and technological roots.

Part of the inventive shift included Quint leading the establishment of several new 3M studios around the globe to encourage collaborative creativity at scale, defining a talent development program, and developing a new corporate identity which resulted in an increase of 3M’s brand value by $4 billion since the introduction.

Quint has received more than 120 international design awards under his leadership in the U.S., Europe and Asia, including 6 individual design awards. He is on the Advisory Board of the Design Management Institute, is a member of the Industrial Designers Society of America and a fellow of the World 50 Innovation. He is a speaker and lecturer at international events for design, business, academia and in-company seminars about design thinking, innovation, branding and design management.
