Why Emily? 

Over the past 10 years, Emily has worked at some of the top creative agencies in NYC helping to provide digital solutions to brands like: Verizon Wireless, Citigroup and Dr. Pepper Snapple Group. Accomplishments include the Verizon Wireless Destination Store opening in November 2013 and the launch of the "Inspire Her Mind" campaign in 2014, which was featured on the Today Show and Good Morning America. After working as an agency partner, she was brought in house at Citigroup on the ThankYou Rewards marketing team. Emily is now leveraging her digital expertise at Morgan Stanley as a digital consultant for their Wealth Management group and is a co-chair of the firm’s American Heart Association Go Red campaign.

 

Outside of work, Emily serves on the Alumni Board and Marketing Committee at Dominican Academy. She can often be found taking photos of her food and posting to her Instagram @Emily_Lirag.

Empathy drastically effects business outcomes, however creating this skillset organization wide presents a cumbersome task laced with questions on effective learning formats, examples that engage, and best practices.  Barriers to entry surround employees, management, and practioners with an education gap on the impact, meaning, and application.
