9:00 AM Workshop A: How to Leverage Design Thinking to Accelerate Innovation Across Your Organization
Shalu and Jon will open the workshop with a quick story of how Genpact, a $2.7B GE spin-off and global professional services company, is building a culture of innovation by incorporating Design Thinking into the way the company works every day. Key insights from Genpact’s journey include:
· Make Design Thinking an imperative
· Integrate it as a core skill into the way people work
· Teach it to everyone — design is not a specialty
· Accelerate Design Thinking in everything from projects to customer interactions
For the rest of the workshop, Shalu and Jon will lead everyone through a sequence of hands-on Human-Centered Design methods to explore how to build a culture of innovation in their own organizations. Working in teams, participants will:
· Identify issues and insights
· Reveal themes and patterns
· Invite broad exploration
· Channel collective creativity
· Create a vision of the future
Each person will leave the workshop with multiple ideas for how to advance a Design Thinking movement and accelerate innovation in their own organizations — and with new connections to fellow Design Thinkers embarking on the same journey. Join us!
